In 2002, Herbalife welcomed Bea and Ronald Bos as the 19th members of the Chairman’s Club.

In 1991, Bea discovered Herbalife and experienced wonderful results from the products. Originally in sales and marketing, she immediately understood the business potential of Herbalife and became a Distributor. After a year, she attended Extravaganza, where she “saw the big picture” and consequently quit her other job. In her first full-time year with Herbalife, Bea qualified for Global Expansion Team, then Millionaire Team and finally, President’s Team in a meteoric rise. On a sailing trip for the 10 best entrepreneurs in her area, Bea met Ronald, CEO and founder of a couple of IT companies. By combining his skills, vision and business experience with Bea’s, their Netherlands organization exploded. Since 1999, the Netherlands has over 21 President’s Team members. Chairman, Nutrition & Scientific Advisory Boards

In 2002, Herbalife welcomed Bea and Ronald Bos as the 19th members of the Chairman’s Club.

David Heber, Ph. D. serves as chairman of Herbalife’s 12-member Scientific Advisory Board comprised of world-renowned scientists, and its Medical Advisory Board, attended by leading scientists and medical doctors. The board supports the company’s internal product development team by providing expertise on obesity and human nutrition utilized in product education and marketing materials as well as conducting reviews on product research and development.

Heber’s main research interests are obesity treatment and nutrition for cancer prevention and treatment. He is the director of the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of California, Los Angeles**. Heber has been on the faculty of the UCLA School of Medicine since 1978, and is currently professor of medicine and public health and the founding chief of the division of clinical nutrition in the department of medicine.

Heber holds a B.S. in chemistry, Magna Cum Laude, UCLA, 1969; M.D. from Harvard Medical School, 1973; and Ph.D. in Physiology, University of California, 1978. He is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in clinical nutrition by the American Board of Nutrition.
